I would like to introduce some items that I have used, which I highly recommend to everyone.
Attacking Anxiety & Depression Program
This is the Self-Help Program I encountered in the United States—
the very “answer” that enabled me to overcome anxiety and panic disorder. It covers a wide range of topics, including the mechanisms of anxiety, panic disorder, depression, and stress, as well as personal experiences and practical methods for recovery. The program consists of 15 CDs and a workbook, with each session lasting about 50–60 minutes. Participants work through one session per week, completing the program in approximately six months.
The founder of the program personally experienced agoraphobia, anxiety disorder, and panic disorder. Because it was created in collaboration with his psychiatrist, the content carries deep credibility. In the early sessions, a medical doctor appears to explain the conditions from a clinical perspective, making the program both educational and reassuring.
This program has been adopted by universities, major corporations, and clinics across the United States as a proven method for stress management and recovery from mental health challenges. Although it is available only in English, I highly recommend it to anyone who can understand the language. It is truly unfortunate that no Japanese version exists.

Effective Learning Systems
This is an affirmation CD. It is available only in English. I discovered it in a bookstore in the United States around the time I purchased the “Attacking Anxiety & Depression Program,” and it became a valuable part of my daily self‑affirmation practice.
The content consists of short explanations followed by affirmations repeated in relatively simple English. Examples include phrases such as “I am confident.” and “I can do what I set my mind to do.” Each track focuses on a different theme, making it easy to incorporate into daily life.
When practicing affirmations, the key is to feel the words as truth. Even if you cannot say them out loud, repeating them silently in your mind is perfectly fine. Affirmations are a simple yet effective way to reshape thought patterns in a positive direction and reprogram the subconscious mind. Because change does not happen overnight, consistency is essential.
In the While‑U‑Drive series, I recommend “Become Super Self‑Confident” and “Nurture Your Soul.”
In the For Busy People series, I recommend “Relaxation and Stress Relief” and “Self Image & Self Esteem.”
Although the series differ, all of the CDs share the same structure.
I have not used it myself, but there is also an app and downloadable version called “The Wise Guide App.”
